The Toys for Tots program is run by the United States Marine Corps which gives toys to children whose family cannot afford to buy gifts to them during Christmas. Each year starting in October through December, the program starts to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to children in the surrounding area.

Their mission is to "Deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens." They are investing in the children's future. The program has collected and delivered more than 469 million toys since it's beginning in 1947. 

This year, American Self Storage is proud to contribute to the Toys for Tots Foundation in Phoenix and Laveen Arizona. We believe Toys for Tots is an excellent program and brings joy to children who would otherwise not have gifts for Christmas.
